The bill would require the Secretary of State to furnish, at least once in each calendar quarter of each year, to the appropriate voter registrars, information obtained from the Bureau of Vital Statistics, that would assist in identifying the decreased registered voters of each county. It is anticipated that any costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds or on September 1, 2011. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
