                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 28, 2011      TO: Honorable David Dewhurst, Lieutenant Governor, Senate  Honorable Joe Straus, Speaker of the House, House of Representatives      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2093 by Thompson (Relating to the operation and regulation of certain consolidated insurance programs.), Conference Committee Report    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the operation and regulation of certain consolidated insurance programs. Based on the analysis provided by the Texas Department of Insurance, it is assumed that all duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing agency resources. Based on the analysis provided by the State Office of Risk Management, it is assumed that the bill would have no fiscal impact on the agency.   Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
