The bill would amend section 247.066 of the Health and Safety Code relating to appropriate resident placement at assisted living facilities; and section 247.068 relating to Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) retaliation against a facility owner, controlling person or employee.   DADS indicated that any new requirements pursuant to implementation of the bill could be absorbed within available resources.
