The bill would amend the Local Government Code to specify that if a commissioners court determines that a revision to a subdivision plat does not affect a public interest, notice requirements under Subsection (b) would not apply and the commissioners court would be required to provide a notice of the application to the owners of the lots that are within 200 feet of the subdivision plat to be revised. The bill would authorize a county commissioners court to impose a fee for an application to revise a subdivision plat. The fee must be based on the cost of processing the application. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
