The bill would amend the Transportation Code to increase the aggregate amount of a contract from $25,000 or less to $50,000 or less to which an executive committee of certain regional transportation authorities would be authorized to negotiate a contract without competitive sealed bids or proposals. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
