The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to protective orders for victims of trafficking of persons, including confidentiality provisions. The bill would require the Office of the Attorney General to develop and distribute a pseudonym form to law enforcement agencies of the state for use in such cases, which the OAG reports can be handled within existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
