The bill amends the Occupations Code relating to the release of confidential physician-patient communications in certain circumstances.  Based on the analysis of the Texas Medical Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
