The bill would amend the Government Code and require that at least 14 days before the date the Governor intends to amend a Texas Enterprise Fund grant agreement, the Governor shall notify and provide a copy of the proposed amendment to the Speaker of the House, Lieutenant Governor, and presiding officers of both houses of the legislature with primary jurisdiction over economic development. It is anticipated that any additional costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
