A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to developing a list of preferred vendors that provide
support to open-enrollment charter schools in using the Public
Education Information Management System.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 42.006, Education Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (f) to read as follows:
(f) The commissioner shall develop a list of preferred
vendors that provide support to open-enrollment charter schools in
using the Public Education Information Management System.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
