The bill relates to the amount of a scholarship awarded under the Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program. The bill amends Section 61.9774(b) of the Education Code to clarify that any remaining scholarship monies shall be paid to a student after deductions are made from the scholarship if the student is receiving payments under military contract.  Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
