                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 20, 2011      TO: Honorable Joe Straus, Speaker of the House, House of Representatives      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2904 by Zerwas (Relating to the administration of the Glenda Dawson Donate Life-Texas Registry.), As Passed 2nd House    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill makes several revisions to the administration of the Texas organ donor registry. It is assumed any costs associated with implementation of the provisions in the bill, including the development of a competitive Request for Proposal to contract with a non-profit organization to establish and maintain the Glenda Dawson Donate Life-Texas Registry, can be absorbed within existing agency resources.    Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
