The bill makes several revisions to the administration of the Texas organ donor registry. It is assumed any costs associated with implementation of the provisions in the bill, including the development of a competitive Request for Proposal to contract with a non-profit organization to establish and maintain the Glenda Dawson Donate Life-Texas Registry, can be absorbed within existing agency resources.
