                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 24, 2011      TO: Honorable Joe Straus, Speaker of the House, House of Representatives      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB326 by Guillen (Relating to the reporting requirements of a state agency that is undergoing review by the Sunset Advisory Commission.), As Passed 2nd House    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would require a that state agency, before September 1 of the odd-numbered year before the year in which a state agency subject to Sunset review is abolished, to submit to the Sunset Advisory Commission, the governor, the lieutenant governor, and each member of the legislature a report that lists each report that the agency is required by a statute to prepare and evaluates the need for each of the reports based on whether factors or conditions have changed since the date the statutory requirement to prepare the report was enacted.
