The bill would amend the Government Code to authorize the presiding officer of the governing body of a political subdivision to impose a restriction that exceeds a restriction on fireworks as a part of a declaration of a local disaster if certain drought conditions are met and the governor has suspended the sale, dispensing or transportation of explosives and combustibles within the county.
