The bill would amend Government Code, Chapter 508 to require the Board of Pardons and Paroles to include as a condition of parole or mandatory supervision for certain sex offenders assessed as high risk that the offender submit to the monitoring of each computer or other electronic device used to access the Internet, unless the submission of such device would constitute an undue hardship for the offender.  The Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the Board of Pardons and Paroles indicate that the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State.   Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
