This bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of the towing, booting, and storage of vehicles.The bill would repeal the following sections of the Occupations Code: Section 2308.204; Section 2308.206; and Section 2308.404(d).Based on the analysis of the Department of Licensing and Regulation and the Department of Public Safety, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
