                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 27, 2011      TO: Honorable Richard Pena Raymond, Chair, House Committee on Human Services      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3670 by Carter (Relating to training for employees and operators of certain child-care facilities.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Human Resources Code, Chapter 42, relating to the regulation of certain facilities, homes, and agencies that provide child-care services. The bill would add requirements regarding who may conduct the training of an employee of a day-care center or group day-care home. DFPS indicates they could implement the bill within existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
