                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 27, 2011      TO: Honorable Craig Estes, Chair, Senate Committee on Agriculture & Rural Affairs      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB414 by Aycock (Relating to the conducting of licensing examinations by the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code to remove the requirement that the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners hold a regular meeting at least twice a year to conduct licensing examinations. Based on the analysis of the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
