The bill would amend the Occupations Code to remove the requirement that the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners hold a regular meeting at least twice a year to conduct licensing examinations. Based on the analysis of the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
