The bill would amend the Transportation Code relating to the issues at a hearing for a person whose driver's license is administratively suspended for refusal to consent to the taking of a specimen following an arrest for certain intoxication offenses.Based on information provided by the Department of Public Safety and the State Office of Administrative Hearings, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
