                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 20, 2011      TO: Honorable Tommy Williams, Chair, Senate Committee on Transportation & Homeland Security      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB71 by Martinez, "Mando" (Relating to the fee charged for the Texas Airport Directory.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code to specify that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) may not charge a fee for furnishing the Texas Airport Directory. Based on the analysis and information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the state. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
