The bill would amend portions of the Parks and Wildlife Code to prohibit the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission (through proclamation or regulation) from prohibiting a landowner or a landowners agent from using a helicopter to take depredating feral hogs or coyotes. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reports the bill would not result in a fiscal implication to the department; accordingly no fiscal implication to the state is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
