The bill would amend portions of the Parks and Wildlife Code to allow a landowner or a landowners agent to use a helicopter to take depredating feral hogs or coyotes as determined by Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission rule and under authority of the applicable permit. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reports the bill would not result in a fiscal implication to the department; accordingly no fiscal implication to the state is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
