Local Government Impact The bill would require each school district to appoint a liaison no later than December 1, 2011, to assist with the enrollment or transfer of local students who are in the conservatorship of the state. Local cost implications would be expected to vary among school districts depending on how many students enrolling in or transferring to or from the district were in the conservatorship of the state. Costs are not anticipated to be significant on a statewide basis.
