The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to add reimbursement of certain medical, dental, or health-related services to the county in which a defendant was confined in a county jail to the list of conditions of community supervision that a judge would be required to determine. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011. Local Government Impact There could be a positive fiscal impact to a county that receives reimbursement for certain services by a defendant, but the amount would vary depending on the number of eligible defendants and the amount of the related expenses incurred by the county.
