The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code and the Tax Code to authorize court clerks who are required to enter information into an execution docket to enter and maintain such information in an electronic format. The electronic format is optional and thus the bill would not result in the imposition of any new duties on court clerks. Accordingly the bill is not expected to have any significant fiscal impact. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
