The bill would require institutions of higher education to inform students of the provisions of Section 51.907 of the Education Code that pertains to the limitations on the number of courses that may be dropped under certain circumstances. The bill would also amend statute as it relates to formula funding for certain excess credit hours. Any costs associated with the bill would be absorbed within current resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
