H.R. No. 1087
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Harvey and Foy Wilson of Lubbock celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary on March 10, 2011, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Harvey K. Wilson and the former Foy Ruth Curington
exchanged the vows of matrimony at the Ropesville Church of Christ
in 1961, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in
each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their children Jamie Eady, Tony and
Shellie Snook, and Jeff and Elaine Wilson, as well as nine
grandchildren and a great-grandchild, with whom they share the many
special occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Harvey and Foy Wilson have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Harvey and Foy Wilson on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Wilson as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
