 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The tennis team of Wylie High School in Abilene won
 the 2011 Texas Tennis Coaches Association 3A state championship on
 March 12, garnering its fourth consecutive title and its eighth in
 the past 10 years; and
 WHEREAS, In the course of their run through the regional and
 state tournaments, the Bulldogs lost only two individual matches,
 and the players handily overcame their finals opponent, Lindale
 High School, to claim the 2011 crown; and
 WHEREAS, Contributing to the team's success were three
 seniors, Kelsey Wolfe, Kathy Ueckert, and Brady Lemen, who have
 earned state championship medals in each of their four years at
 Wylie; and
 WHEREAS, Under the skilled guidance of Coach Kathryn
 Gilreath, the members of the Wylie High tennis team have furthered
 their school's impressive record in the sport, and their
 achievement is a testament to their countless hours of hard work and
 their unwavering commitment to excellence; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate the Wylie High School tennis team
 on winning the 2011 Texas Tennis Coaches Association 3A state title
 and extend to the players, coaches, and staff sincere best wishes
 for continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
