 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the untimely loss of
 Daryl Lee Farmer of Waco, who died on March 9, 2011, at the age of
 26; and
 WHEREAS, Born on December 6, 1984, to Melissa and Jimmy Lee
 Farmer, "Bam Bam" Farmer earned his nickname through his great
 strength and amazing ability to accidentally break hammers,
 wrenches, and other heavy-duty tools that would normally be
 considered indestructible; with a deep admiration for his father's
 achievements as a race car driver, he came to adore race cars, radio
 control airplanes, and radio control cars; he was also an avid
 fisherman and had recently developed a passion for disc golf; he
 enjoyed spending time honing his skills with fellow members of the
 National Disc Golf Association; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Farmer's gladiator-like physique belied a soft
 heart, and he leapt into action whenever anyone needed help,
 however small or large the task; he demonstrated steadfast loyalty
 to his lifelong best friend, Colton Stroud, and devotion to his
 fiancee, Karmin Brown, with whom he shared a loving relationship
 for the past five years; and
 WHEREAS, Daryl Farmer treasured the time he spent in the
 company of his family and friends, and those he leaves behind will
 forever cherish their memories of this kind and caring young man;
 now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Daryl Lee Farmer and
 extend sincere sympathies to the members of his family: to his
 mother, Melissa Farmer; to his brother, Bryan Farmer; to his
 stepfather, Lance Smith; to his loving guardians, Michelle Phillips
 and Sandy Stroud; to his grandmothers, Patsy Arney and Barbara
 Farmer; to his uncle, Larry Farmer; to his stepbrother, Aaron
 Davis; to his stepsister, Rachael Davis; to Richard and Jennifer
 Brown; and to his many other relatives and friends; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Daryl Lee
 Farmer.
