 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Ann Alotto received the 2010 Woman of the Year and
 Humanitarian of the Year awards from the Mineola Chamber of
 Commerce on February 15, 2011; and
 WHEREAS, The president of the Mineola Lions Club, Ann Alotto
 assists with Casseroles-to-Go, an ongoing fundraiser for the Lions
 and the local library; she is also the vice president of the Mineola
 Pilot Club, an international service organization that focuses on
 brain-related disorders; in addition, she is a director of Caring
 and Sharing, a Christmas initiative, and has served as chair of the
 group's holiday campaigns for the past two years; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Alotto has lived in Mineola for about seven
 years, establishing a new business and overseeing the family farm,
 and she takes great pride in her two children, Rick and Regina, and
 two grandchildren; and
 WHEREAS, The strength of our communities depends on
 individuals like Ann Alotto, whose tireless work in behalf of area
 residents has contributed immeasurably to the quality of life in
 Mineola; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Ann Alotto on her receipt of the
 2010 Woman of the Year and Humanitarian of the Year awards from the
 Mineola Chamber of Commerce and extend to her sincere best wishes
 for continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Alotto as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
