R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The passing of Thomas Emmett Davenport of Dallas on
March 12, 2011, at the age of 69, has deeply saddened his family and
friends; and
WHEREAS, Tommy Davenport was born in Waco on April 18, 1941,
to Mary Elizabeth and Charles Davenport; raised in Bosqueville,
this esteemed Texan enhanced the lives of others with his kind and
friendly nature; and
WHEREAS, Although Thomas Davenport will be deeply missed,
cherished memories of time spent in his company will long endure in
the hearts of all those who knew and loved him; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Thomas Emmett
Davenport and extend sincere condolences to his sister, Marion
Moses, and her husband, Don, and to his other relatives and friends;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Thomas
Emmett Davenport.
