 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Dorothy Hightower of Waco passed away on March 21,
 2011, at the age of 87, leaving her circle of family and friends to
 cherish their many happy memories of time spent in her company; and
 WHEREAS, Born on April 11, 1923, Mrs. Hightower enjoyed a
 rewarding relationship with her husband, Jack Hightower, until his
 death, and they were the parents of five children, Candy, Jimmy, and
 Rick, as well as Suzanne and Linda, who preceded their mother in
 death; and
 WHEREAS, Mrs. Hightower was an ordained minister, and through
 the years she dutifully served several churches and ministries in
 the Waco area; and
 WHEREAS, Dorothy Hightower lived a rich and purposeful life
 centered around her faith and her family, and the joy she found in
 both will long be a source of inspiration for all who were fortunate
 enough to know her; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Dorothy Hightower
 and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
 daughter, Candy Spence, and her husband, Eric; to her sons, Jimmy
 Hightower and Rick Hightower and his wife, Sharon; to her
 grandchildren, April, Aaron, Shane, Erica, Denise, Rachel, Renee,
 Guy, Toni, and Gabi; to her great-grandchildren; to her sister,
 Eunice Nowicki; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Dorothy
 Hightower.
