H.R. No. 1552
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Melissa Jade Bennett and Stephen Kyle Jones have
announced their engagement, to the delight of all who know them; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of Forrest and Dana Bennett, Melissa
Bennett graduated from West High School in 2007; she went on to
attend Vogue College of Cosmetology and currently works at a salon
in West; Mr. Jones, the son of Ronnie and Debbie Jones, is a 2004
graduate of Connally High School; he earned his associate of
applied science degree in environmental health and safety
technology from Texas State Technical College and is employed with
Fluor Daniels; and
WHEREAS, The marriage of this devoted young couple in June
2011 will bring family and friends together to share in the joy of
this memorable event, while marking a profound deepening of a
relationship that has grown in love, respect, and mutual regard
with each passing day; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Melissa Jade Bennett and Stephen
Kyle Jones on their impending nuptials and extend to them sincere
best wishes for a lifetime of happiness as husband and wife; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Bennett and Mr. Jones as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
