 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Emory Camille Callegari of Dripping Springs is
 celebrating a significant milestone in her life in May 2011 as she
 graduates from St. Michael's Catholic Academy; and
 WHEREAS, Emory Callegari's studies have included advanced
 placement courses in environmental science, statistics, and
 psychology; an active participant in extracurricular endeavors,
 she has been a peer leader for the past three years, helping to
 organize events and functions, and has been a part of her school's
 art, Spanish, Model United Nations, and Junior State of America
 clubs; moreover, she served as vice president and was elected
 president of the student body; and
 WHEREAS, A talented athlete as well, Ms. Callegari has been a
 competitive cheerleader throughout her high school career and has
 also distinguished herself in lacrosse, track, and cross country;
 she participated in the state final with her lacrosse team and
 placed in district and state meets as a hurdler; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Callegari has learned valuable skills through
 her work as a camp counselor, babysitter, nanny, and secretary for
 an engineering firm; in addition, she has served as a page for the
 Texas House of Representatives; and
 WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has shared her time and
 energy to support those less fortunate in her area; she has
 volunteered with the Service Crusaders at her school, with Mobile
 Loaves and Fishes, and at local hospitals including Dell Children's
 Hospital in Austin, where she donated blankets for patients through
 an initiative she helped to establish; and
 WHEREAS, Emory Callegari can reflect with pride on her
 academic record, athletic achievements, and contributions to her
 community, and she may indeed look with anticipation toward a
 bright and promising future; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Emory Camille Callegari on her
 graduation from St. Michael's Catholic Academy and extend to her
 sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next
 exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Callegari as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
