H.R. No. 1708
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Kate Harrison has been awarded a scholarship in
recognition of her outstanding academic accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, A student at Reicher Catholic High School, Ms.
Harrison was one of six area young people to be honored at the
Educators Credit Union's 72nd annual meeting, which was held on
March 28, 2011, at the Waco Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has worked toward her
goals with great diligence and resolve, and her achievements are a
source of tremendous pride to her parents, teachers, and
classmates; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Kate Harrison on her receipt of an
Educators Credit Union scholarship and extend to her sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Harrison as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
