H.R. No. 2079
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jay Dalehite has concluded his term as president of
the Canyon Creek Homeowners Association in Richardson, and it is
indeed a pleasure to recognize him for his outstanding
contributions to his community; and
WHEREAS, During Mr. Dalehite's 15 years at the helm of the
association, membership has increased from 200 to 2,000 homes, and
programs to benefit the Boy Scouts of America and provide
scholarships for local students have been implemented; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dalehite is currently sharing his expertise with
incoming president Don Bouvier and continuing to serve the
organization as membership director; in addition, he remains active
in a number of worthwhile initiatives, and he is continuing to serve
as district commissioner of the Cub Scouts; and
WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Mr. Dalehite enjoys the
loving support of his wife, Sandy, his children, Jesse, Debbie, and
Sylvia, and his 18 grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Jay Dalehite has contributed greatly to the quality
of life in Richardson, and his body of work serves as an inspiring
reminder of the good that one person can accomplish; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby honor Jay Dalehite for his achievements as
president of the Canyon Creek Homeowners Association in Richardson
and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Dalehite as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
