 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, During the 82nd Legislative Session, Chase Hooks
 Skjolsvik of Austin has ably served his fellow Texans as an intern
 in the office of State Representative Raul Torres; and
 WHEREAS, The son of Vonda and Douglas Skjolsvik, Mr.
 Skjolsvik graduated ninth in his class from Callisburg High School
 in 2006; he went on to attend Austin Community College and Texas
 State University, studying business and business management; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Skjolsvik will apply the knowledge and skills he
 has gained at the McCoy College of Business Administration as he
 pursues a career as an entrepreneur; he will also benefit from his
 time at the Capitol, where he has learned valuable networking
 skills and self-discipline by maintaining full-time employment
 while earning his degree; and
 WHEREAS, Through his participation in the legislative
 internship program, Chase Skjolsvik has contributed to the work of
 state government while enhancing his knowledge of the legislative
 process and the issues that concern citizens of the Lone Star State,
 and he is indeed deserving of special recognition; now, therefore,
 be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby honor Chase Hooks Skjolsvik for his service in
 the office of State Representative Raul Torres and extend to him
 sincere best wishes for continued success in all of his endeavors;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Skjolsvik as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
