R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Officer Tom Koch was named the 2010 Rookie of the
Year by the Richardson Police Department, in recognition of his
outstanding service; and
WHEREAS, In his short time on the force, Officer Koch has
already earned the respect of his fellow officers for his
willingness to take on extra assignments and to work overtime when
he is needed; and
WHEREAS, Officer Koch's strength of character and commitment
to teamwork have likewise impressed his coworkers, as have his
evenhandedness and courtesy toward others; and
WHEREAS, Tom Koch has quickly proven himself to be an
exemplary member of the law enforcement profession, and he may
indeed reflect with pride on the vital part he plays in ensuring the
safety and welfare of the citizens of Richardson; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Officer Tom Koch of the Richardson
Police Department on being named the 2010 Rookie of the Year and
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success with his
important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Officer Koch as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
