R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sergeant Steve Moore was named the 2010 Officer of
the Year by the Richardson Police Department in recognition of his
outstanding service; and
WHEREAS, During the course of his tenure with the department,
Sergeant Moore has distinguished himself as a member of the
Leadership Team and the Special Weapons and Tactics Unit; in
addition, he has served capably as a training officer and as an
acting sergeant for the patrol division; and
WHEREAS, In each of his roles, this dedicated public servant
has earned the respect and admiration of his fellow officers for his
integrity, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Moore has proven himself to be an exemplary
member of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with pride on
the vital part he plays in ensuring the safety and welfare of the
citizens of Richardson; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Sergeant Steve Moore of the
Richardson Police Department on being named the 2010 Officer of the
Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
with his important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Sergeant Moore as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
