 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, April 30, 2011, signaled the beginning of a new
 chapter in the lives of Wendy Willis and Brandon Dale Sharp, for on
 that day they exchanged their wedding vows and embarked on a
 rewarding journey together as husband and wife; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Willis and Mr. Sharp were joined in matrimony at
 a ceremony officiated by Dr. Samuel "Dub" Oliver at First Baptist
 Church in Waco, after which the newlyweds greeted their guests at a
 reception held at the historic Clifton House; and
 WHEREAS, The momentous day also brought together the parents
 of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Willis, and the parents of the
 groom, Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Sharp, into one family; the bride is the
 granddaughter of Ms. A. J. Best, the late A. C. Best, and the late
 Mr. and Mrs. Vondyl Willis; the groom is the grandson of Irene
 Sharp, the late Sam Sharp, and the late Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Strunck;
 and
 WHEREAS, A graduate of Baylor University with a degree in
 interior design, the bride is a member of the American Society of
 Interior Designers and a partner in Willis Design Group; the groom
 earned a degree in occupational safety and health from Texas State
 Technical College and is employed as a safety consultant with Petro
 Safety Services for Chevron; and
 WHEREAS, The wedding of Ms. Willis and Mr. Sharp marks a
 profound deepening of a relationship that has grown in love,
 respect, and mutual regard with each passing day, and it is truly a
 pleasure to honor this fortunate couple; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Wendy Willis and Brandon Dale Sharp
 on the joyous occasion of their wedding and extend to them sincere
 best wishes for a lifetime of happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
