R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mia Eliana Ramirez of Boerne celebrated a
significant milestone in her life on May 7, 2011, for on that date
she graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Ramirez demonstrated initiative, leadership,
and a determination to succeed, earning her bachelor's degree in
business management in only three years; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of R. Ricardo and Carmen B. Ramirez,
Ms. Ramirez graduated in 2008 from Sandra Day O'Connor High School,
where she was a member of FFA, the choir, and the tennis team;
throughout her academic career, she has enjoyed the encouragement
and support of her parents and her sisters, Margo, Monica, and
Maricarmen; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing
her as she embarks on a future bright with promise; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Mia Eliana Ramirez on her
graduation from The University of Texas at San Antonio and extend to
her sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Ramirez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
