H.R. No. 2602 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Paul Kamprath has provided indispensable support to the House Committee on Technology and its chair, Aaron Pena, throughout the 82nd Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, During his tenure as committee clerk, Mr. Kamprath has ably handled a number of diverse responsibilities, including managing the committee operations and policy, directing staff, compiling committee reports, and tracking all legislation pertaining to technology; and WHEREAS, A native of Austin, Mr. Kamprath earned his bachelor's degree in English, with a minor in classical civilization, from The University of Texas at Austin; he has extensive experience with the Texas Legislature, having worked through 10 sessions in such positions as committee clerk, chief of staff, and bill analyst; in his leisure time, he enjoys reading, bicycling, traveling, and vegetable gardening, and he has earned recognition as the UT Intramural Co-ed Putt-Putt Champion; and WHEREAS, Mr. Kamprath's skill, energy, and dedication have greatly contributed to the efficient functioning of the House Committee on Technology, and it is indeed a pleasure to honor him for a job well done; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas Legislature hereby commend Paul Kamprath for his service as committee clerk with the House Committee on Technology and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Kamprath as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
