R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Honorable Becky Dean-Walker has ably served the
people of Hudspeth County as county judge for more than eight years,
and the knowledge and dedication she has demonstrated over the
course of her tenure have earned her the respect of her fellow
citizens; and
WHEREAS, Since taking office in 2003, Judge Dean-Walker has
distinguished herself through her outstanding work as presiding
officer of the commissioners court and through her astute
leadership of county government operations; and
WHEREAS, The significant contributions of Becky Dean-Walker
have helped make Hudspeth County an even better place in which to
live, and she may take justifiable pride in her exemplary record of
achievement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby honor Judge Becky Dean-Walker on her notable
public service and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Judge Dean-Walker as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
