R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Honorable George Grubb has ably served the
people of Jeff Davis County as county judge for more than eight
years, and the knowledge and dedication he has demonstrated over
the course of his tenure have earned him the respect of his fellow
citizens; and
WHEREAS, Since taking office in 2003, Judge Grubb has
distinguished himself through his outstanding work as presiding
officer of the commissioners court and through his astute
leadership of county government operations; and
WHEREAS, The significant contributions of George Grubb have
helped make Jeff Davis County an even better place in which to live,
and he may take justifiable pride in his exemplary record of
achievement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby honor Judge George Grubb on his notable public
service and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Judge Grubb as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
