H.R. No. 2743
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, April 15, 2011, marked the 70th wedding anniversary
of Henry and Josephine Kubala of West and a wonderful milestone in a
life happily shared; and
WHEREAS, Henry August Kubala and the former Josephine Julia
Oujesky were joined in matrimony on April 15, 1941, at a ceremony
held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Pilot Point, and over
the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving
life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Kubala count among their blessings a
fine family that includes 7 children and their spouses, Janice and
Ken Bernsen, Kenneth and Margaret Kubala, Sandra Kaplan, Joyce and
Frank Reichardt, Vicki and Lynn Clanton, Yvonne Lansdown, and Patti
and Mike Click, as well as 20 grandchildren and 21
great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, For seven decades, Henry and Josephine Kubala have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Henry and Josephine Kubala on their
70th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Kubala as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
