R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Candido Mejia of Roberts County participated in
that joyful occasion with his graduation from Miami High School on
May 27, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Earning his diploma has required hard work and
dedication, and Mr. Mejia can reflect with pride on the
perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; a
valued member of the varsity football and basketball teams, he
maintained perfect attendance throughout his high school career and
earned admission to the National Honor Society; he plans to
continue his education at Oklahoma State University; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with
promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Candido Mejia on his graduation
from Miami High School and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Mejia as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
