 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Garrett Matthew Betros of Boy Scouts of America
 Troop No. 752 in Cameron has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and
 this accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and
 WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant
 honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the
 scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding
 criteria, Mr. Betros earned the requisite 21 merit badges and
 successfully completed an Eagle Scout project of benefit to his
 community, which involved leading a group of volunteers in painting
 the exterior of a bunkhouse at Morning Star Ranch, a nonprofit youth
 organization; and
 WHEREAS, The son of Glynda and Matthew Betros, this fine
 young Texan has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability
 throughout his scouting career, winning the respect and admiration
 of his fellow scouts as he worked toward the highest rank that
 scouting offers; and
 WHEREAS, His dedication to excellence and his perseverance in
 the pursuit of his goals have proven Eagle Scout Betros worthy to
 stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with pride
 on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Garrett Matthew Betros on
 achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best
 wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Eagle Scout Betros as an expression of high regard by
 the Texas House of Representatives.
