 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Irma Perez of El Paso passed away on January 20,
 2011, at the age of 75, leaving her circle of family and friends to
 cherish their many happy memories of time spent in her company; and
 WHEREAS, A native of Durango, Mexico, Irma Perez shared
 nearly half a century with her beloved husband, Alfredo; through
 the years, she took great pride in the election of her beloved
 daughter, Anna Perez, to the El Paso County Commissioners Court,
 and she delighted in welcoming into her family a granddaughter and
 two step-grandchildren; and
 WHEREAS, Mrs. Perez devoted her career to caring for others;
 after working as a nurse's assistant in Chicago, she joined the
 staff of the El Paso Independent School District, where as a food
 service manager she helped to provide nourishment to the children
 of her community; and
 WHEREAS, Irma Perez enjoyed a life that was rich in the
 intangibles that matter most, and she is deeply missed by all those
 who held her dear; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Irma Perez and
 extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her
 husband, Alfredo Perez; to her daughter, Annabell Perez, and her
 husband, Arthur Fierro; to her granddaughter, Julianna, and her
 step-grandchildren, Chris and Jacklyn; to her brother, Humberto
 Gomez, and his wife, Magdalena; to her sister, Elsa Garcia, and her
 husband, Rafael; and to her other relatives and many friends; and,
 be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Irma Perez.
