R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Members of the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce are
visiting the State Capitol on February 28, 2011, to celebrate
Rowlett Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Day; and
WHEREAS, The Rowlett Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs
Committee aims to encourage area businesses to effect change at
local and state levels; the group provides information to increase
knowledge and understanding of the issues facing area industry
while advancing the spirit of community activism; and
WHEREAS, By making a proactive effort to work in conjunction
with elected officials, members of the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce
Government Affairs Committee are helping to promote growth and
development in their vibrant city; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby welcome the members of the Rowlett Chamber of
Commerce Government Affairs Committee to the State Capitol and
commend them for their dedication to their important work; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
