R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
by a great and enduring love, Robert and Edna "Billie" Myrick of
Greenville celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on February
11, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Myrick were united in matrimony in
Greenville in 1966; through the years, they have nurtured a
fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with the
addition of their daughter, Cindi Small; and
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, the Myricks
are both retired; Mr. Myrick worked for E-Systems, and Mrs. Myrick
was a teacher with the Greenville Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past
four and a half decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained
constant in their commitment to one another, and the strength of
their love has enabled them to meet life's challenges and
opportunities with grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert and Edna Myrick on their
45th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Myrick as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
