 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Bernice
 Brown of McGregor, who passed away on March 2, 2011, at the age of
 96; and
 WHEREAS, A native of the Lone Star State, Mrs. Brown was born
 in Elkhart on June 12, 1914, to James and Olivia Gray; she shared
 many happy years of marriage with her husband, G. C. Brown, Sr.,
 with whom she had three children, G. C., Wanda, and Belta; and
 WHEREAS, Through the years, Mrs. Brown was further blessed
 with 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and she enjoyed
 doting on them at every opportunity; and
 WHEREAS, Bernice Brown lived a caring and purposeful life,
 and she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who
 held her close to their hearts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Bernice Brown and
 extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
 children, G. C. Brown, Jr., and his wife, Carolyn, Wanda Blanchette
 and her husband, Earl, and Belta Fowler and her husband, Raymond; to
 her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and to her other loved
 ones; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bernice
 Brown.
